The Tactical Reintegration Project and East Coast Divers are sponsoring a Health and Wellness trip on a liveaboard in Turks & Caicos from Jan 7-14, 2023. The purposes of this trip are to reward members for engagement and progress, reinforce a team environment which aids in the healing process, demonstrate we not alone in the pursuit of a healthy mindset, and to continue education in diving and survival skills.
We are covering 6 seats which include 1 immediate family member (spouse or parent or adult child) per veteran/gold star. This is not including rentals, airfare, transportation to and from airport, or nitrox. The participants will need will need to arrange these things themselves. See below for more detail:
- If gear is needed: TRP has rental available gear if wishing to travel with gear, or gear can be rented from the dive group running the boat (reach out to us for more details if the latter is elected)
- Flights should arrive in Provo before 3pm on 1/7 (boat leaves at 5pm) and can depart any time 1/14 as the boat docks the night before.
- Proof of flight ticket purchase is required for us to confirm your seats (see directions below)
- COVID requirements for T&C: Vaccination or a medical waiver is required indicating someone should not be vaccinated is required
If you wish to be considered for this trip, please fill out the event form below. If you are bringing and family member, in the text section, please indicate their name and relationship to you. Also, please indicate if you are bringing your own kit or plan to rent it (and if so if you plan to rent from the boat or somewhere local). After you apply, and by Dec 24th, a TRP Officer will reach out to you to confirm your seat or confirm your position on the waitlist.
Application deadline is December 20th. Once a seat is reserved/confirmed via a follow up call with a TRP Officer, you will need to provide proof of airline ticket by December 30.
